Virtual Workshops for Groups

Right now, we're in uncharted territory - living through a global pandemic, domestic social unrest, massive loss of life, unemployment, catastrophic weather events, plus disruptions to education, work, and family life. The result is unprecedented mental fatigue and stress felt by individuals and communities throughout the country and world. For instance

In the Census Bureau survey for June 11-16, 2020, 36 percent of respondents said they experienced symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder, meaning, t hey had felt “down, depressed or hopeless” or “nervous, anxious or on edge.” That’s more than double the number of adults who reported such symptoms in the spring of 2019, according to another national survey.
(ROSS, 2020)

When individuals experience mental fatigue, there is a decrease in productivity, creativity, and morale that impacts domestic life and the workplace.

Denise M. Williams Psychotherapist has created a menu of virtual group workshops designed to improve mental wellbeing of participants by providing a safe, moderated space for discussion of mental health challenges and tools to address them.

While many individuals are unable to participate in individual or group therapy, these virtual group workshops offer a cost-effective way for organizations, businesses, affinity groups, congregations, and other entities to provide a valuable service to their team/members, while also improving group morale, productivity, and cohesion.
